If you are a hacker, a CISO, a Security specialist or just you are involved somehow in the security field, then you may have heard of the Certified Ethical Hacker Certification – CEH, if not, let me give you a small introduction.
What is CEH ?
The CEH, or Certified Ethical Hacker certification brought by EC-Council, is one of the most popular cybersecurity certifications one can obtain for many years now. The courseware is very organized and well explained in a unique way, it aims to introduce you to the hacking world and immerse you into the hacker mindset so that you will be able to defend against known malicious attacks, from the standpoint of an equally (or greater) skilled, but completely ethical hacker.
What makes CEH Certification unique is the tools that are provided, which means that for every lesson you can perform some ethical hacking exercises to avoid theory-based learning mode.
How can I get certified ?
Well well well, if you you want to get the CEH Certification, you will need to study the material presented in the 18 CEH v9 modules, and then pass the EC-Council CEH v9 exam, everything depends on your level of existing knowledge, if you are already familiar with some modules you can go through them quickly to save time, of you are completely newbie, then go step by step and don’t forget our friend Google.com as it will help you alot.
No money…But I want the course
It’s not a big deal, I wasn’t either able to pass the exam because I found it very expensive here in Morocco (3000$!!!), anyway I did some search here and there and I managed to get the courseware + the needed tools to get started, if you are looking for the same thing, let me save some time:
